In October 2011 we were asked to create the titles and opening of a new fiction film, to last a maximum of two minutes. We had to include a character opening a door, a character crossing a room and a character sitting down in a chair opposite another character with a few lines of dialogue. To show these shots we used a match on action, a shot reverse shot and the 180-degree rule.

This is the rough cut we made first of Shades Of Grey. This was showed to the class and then we were given feedback on how to improve.

This is the opening sequence we produced for our Film Noir including titles and we named it Shades Of Grey.
